Freedom Fest 2020 will look a little differently from other years, but we continue to serve with our compassion components, including, grocery, clothing, and backpack giveaways, as well as haircuts. All for free. Come join us on August 22, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This year, our focus will be on distributing our compassion components from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. During this time, we will

  • Be giving away 25,000 pounds of groceries and fresh produce. When entering our property, you will have a drive-up, no contact option of receiving your groceries;
  • Distributing 500 backpacks full of select school supplies. We want to help bridge the education gap by placing some supplies for the school year into your hands. Whether you are schooling in-person or virtually, we want to help make sure you have what you need;
  • Distributing thousands of articles of clothing. Temperature checks and face masks will be required when walking through our clothing tent, where you will be able to select some new items for free; and
  • Providing free haircuts to our guests. Temperature checks and face masks will be required for the duration of the hair cut. Our stylists will serve you in an individual 10’x10′ tent space to ensure proper distancing and ventilation.

Our evening will, then, conclude around 8:45 p.m. with our fireworks show. We are asking you to view the fireworks from your home or vehicles, where possible. Alternatively, we will have our north field marked with 10’x10′ square pods to help visualize and encourage socially-distanced viewing on our property. During the duration of the event, on-site parking will still be available while space remains. Additionally, our food vendors will continue to serve you so you can enjoy some food at one of our socially-distanced picnic tables (cleaned by our sanitation team after each use) or at one of north fields’ socially-distanced viewing pods.
